Dinesh is one of the best guide, host, driver whatever we want to call. Me, my partner and 2 year old were traveling to Sri Lanka for first time. We were very nervous about traveling with toddler. Dinesh was there throughout our journey and supported us very well. He showed us places, took us to the stays we liked and found out the food that we preferred and took us there. It was wonderful to have met him and we would go with him anytime we hit Srilanka eyes closed.

Nous avons gagné un temps infini. Il nous a amené à chaque endroit que nous désirions voir, nous a proposé aussi des excursions auxquelles nous n’avions pas pensé et qui ont été vraiment géniales, et sorties des chemins hyper touristiques.
Il nous a proposé de très bons restaurants. Des endroits pour se faire masser qui est parfaits. Sa voiture est très confortable, sa conduite est douce. Il est de bon conseil et nous partage sa culture et sa connaissance parfaite de son pays. Grâce à Dinesh notre voyage a été une pure réussite. Et on est très reconnaissantes et on recommande vivement ses services.

In 2022, Dinesh helped us plan an eleven-day journey through all major attractions of Sri Lanka, and executed the plan perfectly.
He was willing to drive long hours when needed, even in late evenings, so that we sleep close to next day’s destination.
We traveled around Sri Lanka with Dinesh for 3 weeks. Dinesh is a very good driver and drives a comfortable car with air conditioning. He is calm, considerate, and actively looks for alternatives if a plan turns out differently. He listens to your wishes and provides nice, unexpected breaks along the way when we have a long drive. In short, a perfect driver.

We had an unforgettable experience traveling around Sri Lanka with Dinesh. He is one of the gentlest, most trustworthy, and honest people we have ever met. More than an accomplished driver, he is a knowledgeable guide who genuinely cares about his guests.
He picked us up from Colombo Airport after midnight and safely drove us to Kandy. The next day, he showed us all the major attractions in Kandy. On our way to Nuwara Eliya, he took us to the Damro Tea Factory, and the following day, while driving towards Yala, he made sure we visited the iconic Nine Arch Bridge in Ella. He also recommended the excellent Café Chill for lunch, booked our hotel, and arranged an amazing jungle safari in Yala.
Later, he drove us to Bentota via Galle, showing us the beautiful historical sites of Galle along the way. He patiently took us to explore the remarkable works of Geoffrey Bawa and Bevis Bawa’s estate without ever showing the slightest annoyance. He even helped us find a good hotel in Bentota.
One incident truly reflects his kindness. I wanted to buy a traditional Sri Lankan mask, but the prices at the handicraft shops were very high. After dropping us at our hotel, Dinesh went out of his way to find an affordable, authentic mask directly from a local craftsman.
He also organized a surprise birthday celebration for my sister, which became one of the most memorable moments of our trip.
On our final journey to Colombo, he received the sad news that one of his relatives had passed away. Even then, he didn’t leave us until we had found a suitable hotel. That level of dedication and professionalism is rare.
The perfect ending came at 3 a.m., when he came to the airport to say goodbye and brought me fresh cinnamon leaves—a small wish I had mentioned while visiting Bevis Bawa’s estate. That thoughtful gesture perfectly sums up the kind of person Dinesh is.
If you’re planning to visit Sri Lanka, I cannot recommend Dinesh highly enough. He doesn’t just drive you from one place to another—he makes you feel safe, cared for, and welcomed throughout your journey. Thanks to him, our trip was truly unforgettable.
